Despite the traditional Djarum Blacks, this cigarette is WHITE papered, with a cream filter. It is a very sexy cigarette, with BLACK written on the white paper. not a wower

a good smoke but not a wower! i love blacks an thought i would give this a try , but let me tell you there really want much of a change from the normal ones. witch was kinda of a let down, other then the color an the sweeter taste an lighter smoke I could'nt tel the diff. from the normal ones

These cigarettes are unparralled to anything I've ever smoked. When opening the pack you'll be immediately greeted by a rich, sweet, unique, and distinctly wonderful cappuchino-clove aroma. My first drag tasted as if I was smoking my favorite coffee, and was so smooth I thought I hadn't lit the cigarette. There's no throat tickle at all. These are slightly thinner than a standard cig, but rolled tightly enough that they last longer than standard cigs, no packing required. My only hang up is the styling of the cig; while the box is black and cream, the cig has a cream filter and a white paper, which is only mildy off putting. I feel that djarum should have made the cig black with a cream filter, cream with a black filter, or all black with a cream band. Overall this is the most enjoyable smoke I've ever had.

Ive had these a few times on different orders. When i look at Djarum Black on the cover, I'd assume they'd be black with a tan filter, but that is not the case, luckily, or all my friends would be after me when i smoked one! The flavor is sweet and really does have a cappuccino flavor to it, a bit mellow, but enjoyable to those who like a different smoke. Its not very clove-y, but you can taste the subtle hints of them with each puff. I definitely suggest this kretek to anyone who likes full flavor kreteks and cigs as opposed to menthol, you wont be dissapointed.

Djarum black that is wrapped in white paper...? Yeah, and the flavor is almost as misleading to me. These burn super quickly (as they are very thin) and after smoking several with a friend, we decided these really have a very creamy taste to them. Not so much a coffee taste, but they definitely have a sweetness and creaminess that you get in coffee drinks. Really interesting smoke, to be honest. You get that creamy, rich taste in subtle notes that make you want more. I don't taste the cloves much. These are nice to smoke because of their uniqueness, but not quite the thing for someone like me who likes very clove-y kreteks. I wouldn't mind buying a couple packs though.

I give this cigarette an 8/10 overall. It has a smooth draw with a very distinct flavor. The body isn't overwhelming but I highly suggest drinking a cup of coffee or a mocha while smoking to enhance the pleasurable experience. I don't recommend dragging on it fast, a slow smooth inhale will do the trick perfectly. The aftertaste is not bad but also not very good either. Definitely worth smoking after a hard day of work. Give it a try it was a great experience!

They are not black, they're white. They are thin like a Virginia Slim. They might have the Black blend of tobacco but can't be sure. They bear no real similarity to a Black, but they are good. Smooth and tasty. A nice break from the non-filters. My only complaint is the slimness. I just like a thicker smoke.

one of the best cigarette i smoked. the taste is so unique and fabulous. love the coffee taste... i missing black.. its hard to get cause its banned. but hey... if u havent tried yet.. u should buy one here!

They kind of remind me of instant coffee or something like that. They smell and taste very pleasant but plain Blacks still win in my book. They're pretty pricy but worth it for the occasional smoke.

I had high expectations but they weren't fulfilled, that aside these Kretek's aren't bad, they have an interesting flavor that taste very similar to a flavored cappuccino, though the use of fsc paper to roll em is a turn off. Overall it's a great and enjoyable smoke to be savored, burn time is about 7-8 minutes so be sure to enjoy it and savor, definitely not for chain smoking, especially with the "TAR" and nicotine contents, worth a pack, but I wouldn't order a carton. That's just my two cents.
